On 11/2/15 at approximately 11:44 a.m., a Hillsdale County Sheriff Deputy attempted to stop a motorcycle in the City of Hillsdale for traffic violations.

The initial contact with the motorcycle occurred at the intersection of Carleton Rd. and Arch Ave. in the City. The Deputy activated his warning lights and the cycle fled the scene at a high rate of speed.The chase continued out of the City into the County at high rates of speed.

The suspect ditched the 2003 Suzuki cycle at 4071 Bean Rd. Deputies searched the area and the suspect fled on foot. After a foot chase the driver was taken into custody.

The subject was apprehended and was identified as a Dustie Ryan Bills age 18 of 7251 Sterling Rd. in Litchfield. Bills was lodged in the Hillsdale County Jail on charges of fleeing and eluding a police officer, resisting and obstructing police, violation of a restricted license,operating a cycle without a cycle endorsement, operating a motor vehicle without insurance and improper registration.

Bills remains lodged in the Hillsdale County Jail without bond.
