HOMER, MI (WTVB) – Michigan State Police are hoping for the public’s help in solving an armed robbery last Friday in northeastern Branch County. The robbery happened around 6:45 p.m. at A.J.’s General Store on Clarendon Road.

Troopers said the suspect held a knife during the heist and left the area driving an unknown vehicle with a loud exhaust. The suspect is described as a white male, late teens to early 20’s, 5’-8”-6’, “skinny” build, wearing blue jeans, a blue “Aeropostale” sweatshirt with lettering across the front of the sweatshirt, a red bandana covering part of the suspects face, sunglasses and dark, possibly black hair. A Michigan State Police forensic sketch artist completed a composite sketch of the suspect.
