Shortly after 10 p.m., police in the area of the King Center heard around 15 shots fired west of that location. 911 calls began pouring in and officers were dispatched to the 100 block of E. Euclid Ave.

Upon arriving officers observed a black 2015 Nissan 4-door sedan, a rental car, fleeing from the area at a high rate of speed. Officers pursued the vehicle south on Kent St. The vehicle eluded police momentarily, but was found a short time later in the area of 1st Street and the dirt part of W South Street.

The suspect driving the vehicle, described as a black male wearing a white hoodie and a gold chain, tried fleeing on foot. Police apprehended the suspect nearby.

A 30 year old man was arrested for Fleeing & Eluding. A second subject believed to be inside the vehicle as well was arrested for Disorderly Conduct.

The investigation at this time has not determined who was shooting and has not identified any victims.
