Michigan State Police stopped a vehicle in Somerset Township, Hillsdale County for a loud exhaust and a defective plate light.

The vehicle was occupied by a 31 year-old Hudson man, and a 39 year-old Hudson woman.

It was discovered that they were in possession of 68 marijuana plants, which Michigan State Police troopers seized.

The two subjects were not arrested, but their plants were taken.

The incident is being turned over to the Hillsdale County Prosecutor’s Office for further review.
