Michigan State Police stopped a vehicle in Wright Township, Hillsdale County, for speeding. It was discovered that the driver, Chola Maria Bertram, 41 year old Toledo, Ohio woman, was found to be driving on a suspended license, was improperly transporting suspected marijuana, and was operating with the presence of a controlled substance.. She was arrested and lodged at the Hillsdale County Jail.

Michigan State Police stopped a vehicle in Moscow Township, Hillsdale County, for an equipment violation. It was discovered that the driver, a 28 year old Jackson man, was found to be driving on a suspended license. He also had two warrants for his arrest out of the Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Office for insurance and registration violations and a warrant from the Michigan State Police Jackson Post for failure to pay fines and costs related to a defective equipment violation. He was arrested and lodged at the Hillsdale County Jail

Troopers were dispatched to the scene of a one vehicle crash in Springport Township, Jackson County. An investigation was conducted and the driver, a 20 year old Springport man, was found to be driving outside his restricted license conditions, was in possession of suspected marijuana,and was operating while intoxicated. He was arrested and lodged at the Jackson County Jail.
