BLACKMAN TWP, MI – Police are looking for a man who set fire to his home, while his wife and children were inside, according to a BOL announcement by Hillsdale County 911 dispatchers this evening.

The incident occured around 10:30 PM last night on the 700 block of Woodworth Road in Blackman Township. Blackman Fire Department with assistance from Henrietta Township Fire Department, battled a blaze that destroyed the front of the home.

Police are looking for Omar Martin, black male, date of birth 10/19/1983, 6′ tall, 200 lbs, black hair, brown eyes. He could be driving a green 2001 Ford F150, with license plate DLN6739. The truck also has an MSU sticker in the rear window.

It’s believed that Omar Martin could be in the Albion area.

He’s considered dangerous, and has made threats regarding suicide by cop.
