An overnight shooting in Adrian leaves on person dead and another injured.
According to Adrian Police, it started because of an argument at a local bar around 2 a.m.
The shooting occurred at after-party on the 800 block of Erie Street, where two people were shot.
One victim was transported to Bixby Medical Center where he died from his injuries and the second victim was transported by a helicopter to a Toledo hospital.
Police have released the name of the victim killed in the shooting as William Clayton Coleman Jr., age 32, of Adrian.
Adrian Police are investigating the shooting with the assistance of the Michigan State Police Forensics Lab.
Police say a suspect has been identified. However, at this point, no arrests have made.
The suspect in a homicide that occurred June 26, 2016, in the city of Adrian, has been taken into custody.
The suspect, Sim Ervin King, age 21, of Inkster, MI. was taken into custody without incident after Adrian Police received numerous tips on his location.
The suspect will arraigned in 2-A district Court this afternoon on a single count of Open Murder. Additional charges may be filed at a later time.
At this time, the investigation is ongoing. A motive has not yet been established, but Adrian Police are attempting to clarify the situation as the investigation continues.
There is no update on the condition of the second victim, and his name is not being released at this time.
