Today around 2:25 P.M. Steuben County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 8000 block of East SR 120 for a motorcycle accident.

Upon arrival it was observed that a 2003 Suzuki motorcycle driven by Timothy Roden (age 44) of Camden, Michigan had been traveling East on SR 120 at an apparent high rate of speed and failed to negotiate a curve in the road.

The motorcycle went off the North side of the road and slid before coming to a rest.

Roden was flown from the scene to Parkview Regional Medical Center by Samaritan Helicopter for treatment of his injuries.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash which is still under investigation.

Roden was wearing a helmet that reduced the severity of his injuries.

Steuben County Sheriff’s Deputies were assisting by Steuben County EMS, Parkview Samaritan Helicopter, Fremont Police Department, Fremont Fire Rescue, and Steuben County Communications.
