Just before 2:00 AM early Wednesday morning, Michigan State Police Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for disregarding a stop sign at East Hakes Street and Main Street in Montgomery.
Further investigation revealed the driver, a 42 year old Michael Douglas Mead Jr. of Edon, Ohio, was driving on a suspended license, operating an unregistered vehicle, unlawfully using a license plate, and was in possession of suspected methamphetamine. The front seat passenger,a 20 year old Cory Devan Marshall of Camden, was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine and was in violation of his probation. A rear passenger in the vehicle, a 40 year old Jade William Herzog of Bryan, Ohio, was in possession with intent to deliver suspected methamphetamine and attempted to resist arrest after the drugs were located.
The three men were arrested and lodged at the Hillsdale County Jail.
