CAMDEN TOWNSHIP – Police say a Camden man tried swallowing his meth stash after Michigan State Trooper pulled him over on Monday.
Troopers performed a traffic stop on a vehicle in Camden Township. The driver, Todd Anthony Porter Jr., age 31, who resides at 128 S Main St Apt B, Camden, MI, was found to be driving on a suspended license, and was in possession of methamphetamine and marijuana.
According to a MSP press release, he tampered with evidence by ingesting additional suspected methamphetamine as troopers initiated contact with him.
Porter also had a parole absconder warrant for his arrest out of the Michigan Department of Corrections Lansing Tether Unit.
He was arrested and lodged at the Hillsdale County Jail without bond.
