HILLSDALE – A car jumped a curb in Downtown Hillsdale, Tuesday afternoon, seriously injuring two women.

The incident occurred around 3:00 p.m., Tueday, October 31st, 2017 in front of 30 N Howell Street.

A 91-year-old woman jumped the curve and struck two women who had just left Nash Drugs.

Both women were transported by Reading Emergency Unit to Hillsdale Hospital for treatment.

The women inside the vehicle were not injured. The vehicle, a Pontiac Vibe, was driveable, and a relative showed up to drive the vehicle and its occupants home.

Police have not yet released any names.

Police say the incident is accidental, and no criminal charges have been filed at this time.

Firefighters washed down a large amount of blood on the sidewalk using their fire engine.
